Dan Butler has reportedly re-signed with St Kilda for a further two years, tying him to Moorabbin until at least the end of the 2024 season.

The ex-Tiger and 2014 No. 67 pick has played 101 career games, 56 of which have come in Saints colours.

St Kilda confirmed Butler's new deal on Tuesday, expressing their excitement in retaining the small forward.

“We’re pleased to lock in Dan for at least the next two seasons,” Head of List Management James Gallagher said.

“Dan has been a staple of our forward line for the past few years and has proven his importance to the line-up across his time at the club.

"His pressure acts and willingness to play an at-times sacrificial role for the greater good of the team is a real credit to Dan’s character.
