St Kilda is understood to have made another change to its football department, welcoming a new sports science expert ahead of the 2024 season.
Following their elimination final bow-out to GWS almost three weeks ago, the Saints appear to have transitioned their focus to off-season operations; including undergoing football department changes.
Ben Horsley seems to have landed an esteemed role at Moorabbin ahead of the 2024 season, joining St Kilda as Sports Science Manager.
Horsley himself announced the news of his appointment on Wednesday afternoon via X, expressing his excitement at working in conjunction with Saints Head of Performance Alex Sakadjian.
"Thrilled to be joining St Kilda's performance department as Sports Science Manager for the 2024 season," Horsley said on Wednesday.
"Looking forward to working with Alex Sakadjian and the team in what is shaping up to be an exciting year ahead!"
Horsley's addition comes after Dr. Ben Robbins, the club's previous head of mental health and wellbeing, is understood to have departed his Moorabbin post following the conclusion of the Saints' season.
