St Kilda defender Jimmy Webster and forward Tim Membrey have both put pen to paper on new deals with the Saints.

Webster has signed a three-year deal that will see him remain a Saint until the end of the 2022 season, while Membrey's new contract takes him through to the end of the 2021 campaign.

“Jimmy and Tim have both become extremely important players for us and future leaders, so to have them both committed to the Saints long term is exciting," St Kilda's General Manager of Football Simon Lethlean told saints.com.au.

“The pair are really close mates and have a big influence on our entire playing group on and off the field.”

The pair have both impressed during the 2018 campaign, and have been two of St Kilda's most consistent players despite their poor season.

“Jimmy is a courageous player who is a strong one-on-one defender but also someone who sets us up with his kicking skills,” Lethlean added.

“Tim has enjoyed a strong second half of the season and continues to lead a very young forward group.

“Both guys will continue to improve in the coming years, which is exciting for Saints supporters.”

Webster has played 82 games for the Saints, while Membrey currently has 67 matches to his name.
