St Kilda have been hit with a double injury blow as veteran Jarryn Geary and forward Mason Wood suffered setbacks during their clash against Sydney.
Wood suffered a suspected hamstring injury in the first term of the match at the SCG and was subbed out of the game, with young defender Tom Highmore coming into the match.
The Saints goalsneak booted the first goal of the day and collected two possessions in the opening moments of the match before being ruled out for the remainder of the game at the first break.

Geary suffered a suspected hand/wrist injury and was assisted off the field in the final quarter.
The injury is the latest setback in a long history of injuries for the Saints co-captain.
The luckless Saints co-captain looks to have hurt himself again... fingers crossed it's not as bad as it looks ๐ค
