Geelong great Sam Newman has been left devastated by the sudden passing of his wife.
Amanda Brown, 50, was found unresponsive by Newman in their Docklands home last night.
Emergency services were contacted over reports of cardiac arrest.
Newman told The Herald Sun's Fiona Byrne and Jackie Epstein that he is devastated.

โIโm just devastated, I canโt say anything else,โ Newman said this morning.
The matter is not being treated as suspicious and Victoria Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
Newman and Brown were together for 20 years before officially tying the knot in November.
