Geelong has reportedly entered the race to sign North Melbourne midfielder Daniel Wells.
Wells, who is out of contract, is yet to commit to the Roos for 2017, as he weighs up his future, amid speculation he will seek a fresh start as the club looks to rebuild.
Collingwood is understood to have made an offer to Wells, while the Cats have also thrown their hat in the ring.
3AW's Sam McClure reports that Wells has already made up his mind to leave the Kangaroos, with the Pies and Cats the front runners.
"My understanding is that he's basically decided to leave North Melbourne and has a choice between Collingwood and Geelong," McClure said.
Wells, who has battled several injuries throughout his career, played 19 games and averaged 23.1 disposals in 2016.
