Just one player has been sanctioned following week two of the 2015 finals series, with retiring Swans' champion Adam Goodes receiving a $1,000 fine.
Goodes was charged with a first offence of misconduct against North Melbourne's Scott Thompson. With no applicable bad record, the $1,500 fine can be reduced to $1,000 with an early guilty plea.
Contact between Luke Hodge and Scott Thompson during Friday night's semi final was also assessed. Thompson appeared to grab hold of Hodge's arm and apply a minor 'chicken wing' tackle during the second quarter of the Hawks' wing against the Crows. However, the MRP decided that no action was required.
