Former West Coast coach Adam Simpson has landed with Fox Footy as part of the broadcaster's new team for the 2025 AFL season.

Simpson joins Fox as an expert analyst and is the latest addition to the network as it undergoes mass change ahead of the new year.

Fox Footy has already unveiled AFL icons Leigh Matthews, Tom Hawkins and Shaun Burgoyne as fresh members of their broadcast team for 2025.

"It feels like I have been drafted again," Simpson said.

"I'm really excited to join the team and look forward to getting started with Fox Footy."

Simpson coached West Coast for 11 years, totalling 242 games in charge of the powerhouse club for a return of 122 wins. He famously led the Eagles to the 2018 premiership and decided to step away from his role earlier this year.

Simpson played 306 games for North Melbourne between 1995-2009, winning two premierships, best and fairest honours and an All-Australian selection while also captaining the Kangaroos.

His move to Fox Footy comes as the network prepares to fill the entire Saturday fixture for each round next season as part of a new change to the AFL's broadcasting.

Fox Footy have also revealed expert callers Gerard Whately and Anthony Hudson will combine for Friday night games, with the broadcast to also have every match covered by their commentary team.

Further changes have seen Melbourne great Garry Lyon land at the AFL 360 desk, while Richmond champion Jack Riewoldt will host On The Couch.
