Six clubs have confirmed the elevations of seven rookies for next season following the AFL's latest list lodgement.

Carlton were the only club to confirm multiple promotions from their rookie list, with Matt Kennedy and Josh Honey both being elevated to the club's primary list for next year.

The pair both signed new deals with the Blues in September after proving their worth to the Princes Park club for another season.

Champion Demon James Jordon is also among the elevated rookies, having claimed a premiership medal as the medical sub in Melbourne's drought-breaking grand final win over the Bulldogs.

2021 was a stellar debut season for Jordon, having played an instrumental role in Simon Goodwin's midfield ensemble in 25 matches for the year.

Saints defender Callum Wilkie has also been promoted to Brett Ratten's senior list, with the 25-year-old having held down a position in St Kilda's backline across 63 matches.

Hawthorn ruckman Ned Reeves, Dockers defender Ethan Hughes and Port Adelaide youngster Martin Frederick round out the list of promoted players.

AFL clubs will submit their next list lodgement on November 10 after the first window of the delisted free agency period.
