Six members of Collingwood's 2023 premiership side are among eight new life members at the Magpies, while the club has appointed their new president to succeed the outgoing Jeff Browne.

Darcy Mooreย Jack Crisp,ย Mason Cox,ย Jordan De Goey,ย Brayden Maynardย andย Nathan Murphy were given life membership along with departing board member Christine Holgate and volunteer Neil Price at Monday's Annual General Meeting.

Moore captained the Magpies to their 16th premiership, with Crisp, De Goey, Cox, Maynard and Murphy all in support, with the latter since leaving the club due to retirement.

"On behalf of everyone at Collingwood, I congratulate these eight individuals on receiving Life Membership and for their immense contribution to the black and white," Browne said.

"To our six AFL Premiership players, thank you for delivering the Club our 16thย AFL Premiership.

โ€œEach of you have brought incredible happiness and pride to the entire Club and supporter base. You all will always be Collingwood people and forever a part of the fabric of our Club.

"I thank Christine for her magnificent contribution as a long-term Director at Collingwood.

"Since joining the Board in 2016, Christine has demonstrated dedication and deep care for the Club and the Collingwood Community Foundation's initiatives. She has strengthened our Club, and we are deeply grateful for Christine's contribution to help steer the Club achieve its best.

"Having started as a volunteer back when we were based at Victoria Park, Neil has gone on to serve the Club for over three decades.

โ€œNeil is much more than just the boot studder, he is the ultimate Collingwood person. He is dearly loved and highly respected across the whole Club and we thank him for his dedication to his beloved Magpies."

Collingwood have also appointed Barry Carp as the club's new president, with the founder of River Capital taking the reins from Browne.

Carp will be supported by vice-presidents Paul Licuria and Jodie Sizer following unanimous support for all appointments.

โ€œI want to pay tribute to Jeff Browne for his strong leadership over the past three years and to each President who has served before him. Our Club is in a very strong position, and we have set the foundation for sustained success.

โ€œI thank all the candidates who contested the election hoping to make a contribution to Collingwood at Board level.

โ€œTo our incredible Members, I look forward to connecting and listening to you all to ensure we continue to offer the best Member experience in 2025 and beyond.โ€

Carpย and Renรฉe Roberts return to the club's board, with Gaye Morris and Dan Rosen also elected as new directors.

Licuria, Sizer and Paul Tuddenham will remain on the club's board also.
