Cooper Harvey has signed a one year extension that will see him at North Melbourne until at least the end of 2025.

Harvey played three games during the 2023 season after being taken at Pick 56 in the 2022 AFL draft but was unable to find any playing time in 2024.

Harvey has been plagued with injuries over his first two years in the AFL, but the son of AFL games record holder Brent Harvey has shown some promising signs in the VFL and through his three AFL games.

Brady Rawlings, North Melbourne's head of football talent, hailed the young forward's promise, saying the club is looking forward to seeing him take the next step in 2025.

"Unfortunately, a few injuries have impacted Cooper's football continuity during his first two seasons at North Melbourne," he said.

"We know he'll be eager to make the most of his opportunities next season, and we look forward to seeing what he can do with another AFL pre-season under his belt and a clear run at it."

Harvey was the last uncontracted 'Roo to sign on for the 2025 season.
