Sought after GWS free agent Harry Perryman has addressed his future with the Giants amid interest from as many as three rival clubs.

Perryman falls under the unrestricted free agent band this year, with a deal for 2025 and beyond yet to be signed as the Giants work their way through a strong retention period.

The New South Wales club has managed to secure new deals for Lachie Ash (2027), Jesse Hogan (2026) and Sam Taylor (2032), among others, already this year to see further interstate products settle in the non-football state.

With the signature of Taylor initially looming as one of the club's biggest internal signing targets despite his contract status for next year, deals for free agency pair Perryman and Isaac Cumming now sit as priority moves for football manager Jason McCartney and his team.

While being a graduate of the club's Academy program, there is some pull from clubs from Victoria and South Australia as they seek to pry Perryman out of Sydney's west.

Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and Adelaide have all been tied to the 25-year-old, who remains unsigned beyond the current season with just two months remaining before September.

Speaking to AFL.com.au, Perryman said while hopeful a new deal can be struck with the Giants, he isn't placing too much attention on where things sit between the club and his management.

"It's been interesting. I've never gone through this too much before. It's a pretty boring answer but I try to block all that stuff out and that's why I pay my manager so he can look after that," the GWS utility said.

"Up in Sydney, it's easy as you're kind of away from it all. Hopefully, something can happen pretty soon over the next couple of weeks or month but if not we'll just try to keep playing good footy.

"My manager is always in contact with the club and trying to sort stuff out so he's working bloody hard."

A pair of hamstring injuries in 2024 have kept Perryman to just 11 games this season so far, with the GWS defender slotting into a half-back role under Adam Kingsley this year.

A leading strength of Perryman's is his versatility, with the Collingullie-Glenfield Park product able to play across all three lines of the field.

His value and role in Kingsley's squad is a key claim to why Perryman sits as the Giants' next contract target, particularly with external interest remaining high.

The Giants also have veteran quartet Nick Haynes, Adam Kennedy, Callan Ward and Lachlan Keeffee eligible for free agency at year's end, with calls on all four players likely to come at the end of the season.
