St Kilda have decided not to offer veteran midfielder Seb Ross a new deal for next year.
The list call sees Ross' 13-year career with the club come to an end after 211 games in the red, white and black jumper.
Ross joined the club out of Horsham in 2011 as the 25th overall pick in the National Draft, with the midfielder making his debut the next year against GWS.
A two-time best and fairest winner with the club and a vice-captain for two seasons during his time at Moorabbin, Ross' tenure with the Saints has come to an end.
โOn behalf of the entire club, we would like to thank Seb for his exceptional service to St Kilda over the past 13 seasons,โ Saints football boss David Missonย said in a club statement.
โThese types of decisions are never easy to make, particularly given Seb's calibre as both a person and a player, which has yielded incredible respect from teammates and supporters alike. However, as we position our list for the future, this decision, albeit incredibly difficult, needed to be made.
โSeb has given everything to St Kilda over the journey and has experienced more than his fair share of hardship throughout in terms of team success, but his commitment through it all has a defining feature of his career and character.
โWe wish Seb, wife Marnie and children Charlotte, Vinny and Henley all the best for whatever the future holds. He and his family will always be welcome here at St Kilda.โ
Ross played 13 games under coach Ross Lyon, his most recent coming in Round 14 against Brisbane as injury hindered the back end of his 2024 campaign.
Ross spoke about his love for the club while revealing he is not "closing the door on football moving forward".
โSt Kilda will always be the place that gave me the chance to live out my childhood dream of playing AFL football, and I will forever be grateful for that,โ Ross said.
โWhile I'm not closing the door on football moving forward, I leave the Saints with some lifelong friends and some incredible memories.
โI'd like to thank all of the teammates I've shared the journey with over the years, as well as all my coaches, the staff and the broader St Kilda community for making my time here so special.

Ross' departure follows the delistings of James Van Es, Tom Campbell, Matt Alisson and Riley Bonner this week.
