It's officially silly season as AFL trade news and rumour frenzy continues just days out from the opening of the signing window.
Free agency will commence on Friday before the trade period opens on Monday, with clubs getting closer to sorting deals after months of work off the field.
Today's trade landscape included a sizeable report surrounding a star Demon, while the list plans of West Coast and Fremantle have become clearer.
Here's all the biggest trade news from today...
Gold Coast forward Chris Burgess has told the Suns of his wishes to be traded home to South Australia to join Adelaide for the 2024 season.
While Burgess has called Carrara home since the dawn of the 2019 season, the utility failed to make his mark at AFL level, representing the Suns in just 33 senior games
Whether forward, back or in the ruck, the West Adelaide product proved handy for his former coach Stuart Dew when utilised, however, it was at the reserves level where Burgess truly shone.
Throughout his 40 games for Gold Coast's VFL outfit in 2022 and 2023, Burgess would bag 124 goals with a supremely accurate 70.85 per cent conversion rate.
So potent was Burgess ahead of the ball, the 27-year-old would claim back-to-back Jim 'Frosty' Miller Medals, awarded to the league's leading goalkicker.
Despite being contracted at Carrara for the 2024 season, Burgess opted out on Tuesday, with AFL Media's Josh Gabelich reporting the sharpshooter wishes to be made a Crow this trade period.

Rival clubs are said to be weighing up whether to make a move for Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver.
Oliver is contracted until the end of 2030, and while the Demons haven't signalled they'd be opening to trading the four-time best and fairest winner, other clubs are said to be circling.
AFL.com.au have reported that rival sides are mulling over the idea of building trade packages that could tempt the Demons.

GWS free agent Matt Flynn, Hawthorn forward Tyler Brockman and Brisbane midfielder Deven Robertson are all on the Eagles' radar.
Flynn and Brockman are likely to head west, while Robertson has a decision to make on his future after finishing his season on Saturday.

It'll take an extraordinary deal for West Coast to allow Pick 1 to leave their hands, but several sides might have the capital to satisfy their demands.
Melbourne, North Melbourne, GWS, St Kilda and Hawthorn could each make a bid for Pick 1 and look to get to the front of the queue for Harley Reid while also keeping the Eagles happy.

Delisted Adelaide midfielder Jackson Hately is hopeful there's more to come in his AFL career after being cut from the Crows last month.
Despite playing what he viewed as the best football of his career this year, Hately could only make one appearance at AFL level under Matthew Nicks.
The 22-year-old told Trade Radio he's prepared to move interstate to keep his career alive.

Brisbane are said to be leading the race for Adelaide free agent Tom Doedee, while the Swans are believed to be showing some level of interest in the defender.
Collingwood is the third club looking to pry Doedee out of West Lakes this off-season, however, fellow grand finalists Brisbane have reportedly tabled a $3 million, five-year deal.
Doedee recently spoke on his future, noting he's in no rush to come to a decision.
