Star Giant in doubt for Sydney derby

Greater Western Sydney star Jeremy Cameron is in doubt for face the Swans on Saturday night, after the full forward failed to train on Wednesday.

Cameron was forced to join in with the rehabilitation group rather than the main group on Wednesday.

However, AFL.com.au reports the Giants insist their key man inside 50 will be right to play in the blockbuster clash and is merely suffering from general soreness following two hard fought draws against Geelong and Hawthorn.

Meanwhile, Zac Williams, Steve Johnson and Toby Greene all trained well and are in line to return to the side.

Across the other side of town, Swans star, Isaac Henney has predicted things could get fiery in the clash between the two new rivals.

"There's going to be some seriously contested footy. We're excited and we're ready for it," Heeney said on Wednesday.

"It's going to be a fiery game and it's going to be on.

"They are our rivals. They're a quality side. It's going to be hard to stop them but we've performed well during the last month or so. We'll go out there and be confident we can get the win."

After losing their opening six games of the season, the have won eight of their last nine and currently sit in eighth spot on the ladder, while the Giants sit second behind Adelaide, with 10 wins, three losses and two draws.

The two sides face off at 7.25pm at the SCG on Saturday night.
