Coburg 8.6 (54) def. by Port Melbourne 18.10 (118)
Port Melbourne's strong season continued this week, knocking off Coburg by 64 points. Louis Cunningham and Dylan Conway both hit the scoreboard for the Borough, kicking three goals each.
James El Moussalli impressed for Coburg, and finished the game with 31 disposals and a goal.
Northern Blues 15.13 (103) def. by Werribee 18.9 (117)
Nick Larkey kicked four goals for Werribee, as they got past the Northern Blues in a tight affair. Braydon Preuss was instrumental in the ruck, Andrew Swallow had 28 touches and Majak Daw managed three goals.
Rhys Palmer (29 disposals and two goals) performed well for the Blues, as did Nick Graham (26 disposals, two goals and 13 tackles).
Richmond 18.18 (126) def. Geelong 12.5 (77)
Tigers fans had the opportunity to wonder down to Punt Road Oval after their heart-breaking loss to Sydney and they would have been glad if they did. Richmond had their way with Geelong, claiming a 49-point win.
Steve Morris was excellent for the victors, kicking four goals and recording 20 disposals. Anthony Miles was good again with 28 touches.
George Horlin-Smith was by far the Cats' best, finishing the game with 36 disposals and two goals.
Casey 10.15 (75) def. Footscray 9.8 (62)
It was two-from-two for the Demons against Footscray this weekend, with Casey taking the win. Jay Kennedy-Harris did some great things, amassing 33 touches and kicking a goal. Jack Trengove was also good racking up 29 disposals.
Despite going down Tom Campbell played well. He had 20 touches, 54 hit-outs, and kicked a goal. Lukas Webb was also good with a goal, and 27 disposals.
Williamstown 16.22 (118) def. North Ballarat 9.8 (62)
North Ballarat's struggles continue, going down to Williamstown by 56 points. Lachlan Schultz was good for the Seagulls, and finished with 28 disposals and a goal. Ben Cavarra could have had a big bag, but still finished with 3.3.
For North Ballarat, Andrew Hooper performed well despite the heavy loss. He kicked three of his side's nine goals.
Claremont 16.14 (110) def. Swan Districts 6.7 (43)
Jye Bolton racked up 37 disposals as Claremont took the four points from their game against Swan Districts. Beau Maister and Christopher Oakley were also both impressive for the victors, kicking four goals each.
There wasn't a whole lot to cheer about for Swan Districts, however Warrick Wilson put in a good showing, finishing the game with 25 touches.
East Fremantle 19.17 (131) def. Perth 11.7 (73)
East Fremantle proved dominant as they knocked off Perth by 58 points. Tom Marshall was good with 24 disposals, while Nathan Fahey had 20 touches, and three goals.
Clinton Jones was yet again one of Perth's best with 31 touches, seven tackles, and four inside 50s.
Subiaco 14.14 (98) def. East Perth 10.6 (66)
Subiaco stormed home to knock off East Perth at Leederville Oval. Kyal Horsely had a good time of it for the Lions, collecting 26 disposals, six tackles, and four inside 50s.
For East Perth, Jonathon Giles had 35 hit-outs, Chris Masten had 28 touches, Jack Redden collected 26 disposals, and Sharrod Wellingham got amongst the votes.
West Perth 10.4 (64) def. by South Fremantle 16.15 (111)
South Fremantle were too strong throughout, beating West Perth by 47 points. Haiden Schloithe continued what's been a stellar season for him, kicking four goals to go along with 30 disposals for the Bulldogs.
West Perth didn't have much their way, however Shane Nelson performed well collecting 33 disposals.
Sturt 14.8 (92) def. Port Adelaide 9.6 (60)
Sturt finished off strongly to knock off Port Adelaide on Sunday afternoon. James Battersby was excellent for the victors, recording 30 disposals, while former Power player Sam Colquhoun had 29 touches, 10 marks, and a goal.
Brett Eddy continued his push for a seniors recall, kicking six of Port Adelaide's nine goals. Jasper Pittard had a bit of it, finishing with 23 touches, four inside 50s, and seven rebounds 50s.
South Adelaide 8.12 (60) def. by Norwood 10.8 (68)
A late run was not enough for South Adelaide, as they fell to Norwood by eight points. Former North Melbourne player Brad McKenzie was excellent, finishing with 30 disposals in the win.
Nick Liddle was once again the main man for South Adelaide, collecting 22 disposals, and laying nine tackles.
Aspley 8.4 (52) def. by Sydney 22.22 (154)
It was a week of massive margins, and Sydney kicked us off in this one. Oliver Florent was massive, he had four goals, and 25 disposals. Jordan Dawson also impressed with 32 touches, and kicking 3.4. Kurt Tippett had 39 hit-outs.
Reece Toye was good despite the loss for Aspley, with 24 disposals and a goal.
Redland 13.5 (83) def. by Sydney Uni 17.20 (122)
Lewis Stevenson (25 touches & a goal) put in a good effort as his Sydney Uni side knocked over Redland. Damien Bonney and Mike Manteit both had three goals for the victors.
Clay Cameron was solid despite his side going down, he kicked three goals and took eight goals.
Canberra 7.9 (51) def. by NT Thunder 21.16 (142)
Darren Ewing was at it again, kicking an incredible 10 goals in the Thunder's win over Canberra. It could have been a bigger haul for the forward, as he also kicked four behinds. On top of that Ewing also clunked 14 marks.
Jordan Harper was once again one of Canberra's best, he had 36 disposals and hit the scoreboard with a goal.
Southport 4.1 (25) def. by Brisbane 27.13 (175)
The final game of the weekend saw Brisbane dismantle Southport to the tune of 150 points. Josh Schache kicked five goals, meanwhile Rohan Bewick had 29 touches, and three goals.
There was close to nothing to get excited about for Sharks fans, however Jordan Keras once again performed well with 27 touches.
