It was some familiar faces putting in the work, as Sturt beat West Adelaide by 24 points n Saturday. James Battersby was everywhere for the victors, finishing with 32 disposals, eight marks, eight tackles and a goal.
As for West Adelaide it was again Kaine Stevens who put in a great showing. He collected 23 disposals, laid nine tackles and kicked a goal.
Eagles 10.3 (63) def. by Norwood 13.19 (97)
Matthew Panos (29 disposals and two goals) has led Norwood to an impressive 34-point win over the Eagles. Mitch Grigg also performed well in the win, he had 31 touches and a goal.
Nick Hayes did everything he could for Woodville West Torrens, kicking three majors.
Glenelg 13.8 (86) def. Adelaide 10.9 (69)
Glenelg survived a late scare to beat Adelaide by 17 points. Terry Milera and Liam McBean both performed well for the Tigers kicking four goals each.
Harrison Wigg (34 disposals) again pushed his case for a seniors call-up, while Scott Thompson (25 touches and 14 tackles) is looking to play more games for the Crows before he finished up his career.
