Central District kept the Eagles goalless in the first term to help setup a 20-point victory. Travis Schiller had a great day for the victors, recording 32 disposals and kicking a goal.
Even though his side went down, Chris Hall put in a fantastic performance, collecting an impressive 37 disposals and taking 12 marks.
North Adelaide 10.6 (66) def. by Port Adelaide 15.16 (106)
Despite a slow start, Port Adelaide powered home to defeat North Adelaide. Brett Eddy kicked three goals to assure his status as leading goal-kicker for the year, while Robbie Young slotted four majors.
Max Thring was once again among the best for North Adelaide, he had 25 touches and five inside 50s.
Norwood 11.10 (76) drew with Sturt 10.16 (76)
A late behind from Sam Baulderstone meant that Norwood and Sturt shared the points from their clash on Saturday. Mitch Grigg put in a good showing for Norwood, he had 27 disposals and two goals.
James Battersby was one of the better players for Sturt, collecting 24 touches and recording seven tackles.
South Adelaide 13.8 (86) def. Adelaide 12.10 (82)
Scott Thompson has kept his hopes of recording at least one more appearance in the AFL alive. Despite his side going down, the veteran had 28 disposals, six inside 50s and kicked two goals.
Nick Liddle was one of the main reasons South Adelaide claimed the four points, he had 23 disposals and six rebound 50s.
West Adelaide 14.8 (92) def. Glenelg 12.7 (79)
A nine goal second half has led West Adelaide to a 13-point win over Glenelg. Chris Schmidt had a great game in the victory, finishing with 24 touches, nine marks, and seven tackles.
Lachlan Earl had a big game for Glenelg, collecting 29 disposals and six inside 50s.
