Four goals from Gerard Ugle led Peel to an important win over Claremont. Danyle Pearce (35 disposals) was impressive for the victors, while young defender Griffin Logue played well after being dropped from Fremantle.
It was a tough day for Claremont, however, former Docker Anthony Morabito (25 disposals) was solid.

A seven goal second term has helped West Perth take the four points from their clash against East Fremantle. Corey Chalmers had a massive game for the Falcons, kicking three goals, and finishing with 27 disposals.
Brock O'Brien had five of East Fremantle's fifteen goals.
Perth 13.8 (86) def. by South Fremantle 22.14 (146)
South Fremantle put on a dominant display, beating Perth by 60 points. Haiden Schloithe (31 disposals and a goal) was again one of their best.
Gordon Narrier was efficient up front for Perth, kicking three goals from 17 disposals.
Swan Districts 6.9 (45) def. by Subiaco 15.19 (109)
Despite being dominated in the ruck, Subiaco claimed a solid win over Swan Districts. Kyal Horsley played well for the Lions, finishing with 24 disposals, six inside 50s, and a goal.
Ex-Carlton player David Ellard impressed again for Swan Districts. He had 28 touches, 10 marks, and a goal.
Geelong 8.5 (53) def. by Box Hill 14.11 (95)
Three goals from Ty Vickery helped Box Hill claim a win over Geelong. Fellow big man Jack Fitzpatrick was also good, kicking two goals, and finishing with 34 hit-outs.
For Geelong, Jordan Cunico (30 disposals and a goal), Tom Ruggles (27 disposals and a goal), and Scott Selwood (32 disposals and a goal) all performed well.
Essendon 8.14 (62) def. by Port Melbourne 12.17 (89)
Port Melbourne have maintained their unbeaten start tot he season, knocking over Essendon to the tune of 27 points. Brodi Murdoch impressed for the Borough, he also managed to hit the scoreboard for the first time this season.
Bombers players Tom Bellchambers and Joshua Begley both pushed for a senior call-up, impressing in this one despite the loss.
Sandringham 12.6 (78) def. North Ballarat 9.10 (64)
St Kilda youngster Jack Lonie (37 touches) put on a great performance to help get Sandringham over the line against North Ballarat. He had great help from Shane Savage (27 disposals) while Paddy McCartin managed to kick two goals. However, he was also placed on report.
Matt Johnston was one of the Roosters' best, collecting 25 disposals and kicking a goal.
Footscray 17.16 (118) def. Richmond 17.9 (111)
Jack Redpath has staked his claim for a senior recall, kicking 6.2 and taking 12 marks for Footscray. Mitch Wallis also played well returning from injury, he collected 30 disposals and kicked a goal.
Ben Lennon impressed for Richmond, kicking three goals to go along with 23 disposals.
Collingwood 6.10 (46) def. by Northern Blues 9.5 (59)
In a tight affair, the Blues claimed a win over rivals Collingwood. Cameron O'Shea had a solid game for the victors, with 31 touches, while Blaine Boekhorst (29 touches) also played well.
Jarryd Blair (32 disposals and two goals) and Matt Scharenberg (34 disposals and 13 marks) impressed for Collingwood despite the loss and the low scoring nature of the game.
Williamstown 20.17 (137) def. Coburg 7.7 (49)
A wide spread of goal kickers helped Williamstown easily dispatch of Coburg. Six Seagull players kicked more than one goal, with Samuel Dunell and Brett Bewley leading the charge with three each.
Despite the heavy loss, Nathan Blair was again good for Coburg.
Werribee 13.8 (86) def. Casey 10.15 (75)
Four goals from Nick Larkey and three from Lindsay Thomas, meant Werribee took bragging rights over Casey. One of Thomas' goals came with only minutes to play, and put the Tigers lead to over two goals. Braydon Preuss was also impressive in the ruck as he stakes his claims for a recall.
Former Essendom player Jake Melksham also made his case for a recall to the Demons' senior squad, with 30 disposals. However, he could be in danger of a suspension, being reported twice.
Central Districts 14.12 (96) def. by Norwood 19.6 (120)
Former Adelaide player Mitch Grigg again played well for Norwood, as they claimed a 24-point win over central Districts. He finished with 30 disposals and two goals, in what was a solid display.
Darcy Fort was good for Central Districts, he finished the game with 16 touches, 35 hit-outs, and a goal.
Eagles 14.14 (98) def. Adelaide 8.5 (53)
The Eagles surprised some, knocking off Adelaide by 45 points. Chris Hall (27 disposals and a goal) had a solid game, while former Adelaide player Jared Petrenko (26 touches and eight inside 50s) was also good.
Hugh Greenwood may finally have earned his senior debut, after again playing well for the Crows. He had 23 disposals, seven inside 50s and a goal. The senior side losing may also play in his favour.
South Adelaide 13.7 (85) def. North Adelaide 6.5 (41)
Nic Schwarz put on an impressive performance, helping South Adelaide claim a solid game over North Adelaide. He had 33 disposals, eight marks, seven tackles, five inside 50s and one goal.
Ex-Melbourne player, Jordie McKenzie, was one of North Adelaide's best, recording 25 touches and eight tackles.
Port Adelaide 19.10 (124) def. Sturt 9.10 (64)
A dominant first quarter from the Magpies has helped set-up a crushing 60-point victory over Sturt. Jimmy Toumpas (31 disposals and 10 marks), Brett Eddy (five goals) and Angus Monfries (three goals), all performed well for Port Adelaide.
Former Power player Sam Colquhoun was one of the lone shining lights for Sturt. He finished with 27 touches and eight marks.
Aspley 10.12 (72) defeated Redland 8.12 (60)
Ed Barlow racked up an impressive 35 disposals, as his side Aspley claimed a win over Redland. Ben Warren (23 touches and two goals) was also good for the victors.
Jack Rolls had a good day out for Redland. He managed 24 disposals, and a goal, in the loss.
Gold Coast 18.14 (122) def. Giants 10.11 (71)
Gold Coast put in a huge effort against rivals the Giants, and took home a 51-point win. Brayden Fiorini (30 disposals and two goals) impressed for the Suns, as did Matt Shaw (38 disposals).
Jeremy Finlayson (34 disposals and three goals), Matt De Boer (37 disposals) and Daniel Lloyd (32 disposals and two goals), were all impressive for the Giants.
NT Thunder 10.17 (77) def. by Canberra 12.10 (82)
Three goals from Aaron Bruce has helped Canberra stun the Thunder at TIO Stadium. Nicholas Pleming was also good for the Demons.
Daniel Weetra carried on his good form for the Northern Territory, while Darren Ewing added another two goals to his tally.

Nic Newman has made a push for a recall, after kicking a goal to go along with 30 disposals. Jordan Dawson was also good for the Swans, he had 23 disposals and kicked two goals.
Ryan Bastinac impressed for Brisbane, he finished the game with 28 touches, and two goals.
