Touk Miller has not played since Round 6 after injuring his meniscus against North Melbourne but has been training and recovering well to be in the frame for a return this weekend.

It comes at a good time for the Gold Coast Suns who are looking to make their first finals appearance in club history, and the addition of Miller back into the side might just be the key to getting the Suns inside the top eight with only eight games remaining in the season.

Gold Coast Suns Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull spoke withย Gold Coast Suns Media in relation to Miller's selection chances for this weekend.

โ€œTouk will train in our main session this afternoon and is expected to be available for selection this weekend." He said

Joel Jeffrey will also miss the next four weeks as he continues to recover and train after a stress reaction in his foot.

The club has also stated that there have been no other injuries from the weekend.

The 12th-placed Gold Coast Suns take on Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval at 7:10pm local time.
