Defenders

Buy

Heath Grundy (Sydney)

Heath Grundy has reached a purple patch of Supercoach form and has scored 100 or above over the last three weeks. His price sits at 412k and it is slowly increasing, so he could be a handy pick up.

Jeremy Howe (Collingwood)

High-flying Jeremy Howe is averaging 121.3 points over the last three weeks. With Supercoach favourite Michael Hurley going down with a hamstring injury, Howe could be a good replacement.

Sell

Bernie Vince (Melbourne)

Over 2000 teams still have Bernie Vince in them and he is only averaging 73. There is better options out there around the same price.

Hold

Michael Hurley (Essendon)

Michael Hurley will miss a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury, but it isn’t severe and he won’t be out for long. Hold on to him if you have a decent rookie on the bench.

Midfielders

Buy

Jack Redden (West Coast)

Jack Redden is another one who has found a purple patch of form. His three-round average is 121.3 and he is still only 462k and in 1% of teams. A nice point of difference.

Jack Macrae (Bulldogs)

I've said it before and I’m saying it again, find a way to get Jack Macrae into your team. He has been huge this year and is the highest averaging player in Supercoach, going at an average of 135 points.

Dayne Zorko (Brisbane)

Dayne Zorko was dreadful for Supercoach players at the start of the year, but he seems to have returned from whatever holiday he was on and is discounted as a result. Scored 164 two weeks ago and 121 last week. It’s a big risk, but it might pay off.

Sell

Seb Ross (St Kilda)

He’s teased us with some big scores but overall Seb Ross has been bitterly inconsistent and has dropped a lot in value. If he is still in your team it is best to trade him now.

Ollie Wines (Port Adelaide)

Ollie Wines hasn’t been too bad this year but he is another one that has been very inconsistent and is losing money. Trade if you can get him to someone you like.

Hold

Stephen Coniglio (GWS)

The GWS midfielder was a must have at the start of the season but he has dropped in form over the last couple of weeks. It hasn’t been too drastic and does not yet warrant a trade.

Rucks

Buy

Aaron Sandilands (Fremantle)

Big Sandi is having a nice run at the moment with a three-round average of 125.7. He won’t face a tough opponent for a couple of weeks so he could be good to bring in now.

Sell

Jarrod Witts (Gold Coast)

Jarrod Witts started the year well but has dropped away lately. He can still post a big score but he can also post a very low one. Trade if you have one to spare.

Hold

Patrick Ryder (Port Adelaide)

Paddy Ryder has not been back from injury long, but is slowly building back to his All Australian form. Hold on to him for now because there is improvement in him.

Forwards

Buy

James Harmes (Melbourne)

James Harmes has come on to the Supercoach scene out of the blue and with most of the forward superstars hit with injuries, he could be a handy inclusion. He has averaged 107 over the last three rounds and is 415k.

Ben Ronke (Sydney)

Ben Ronke probably isn’t going to kick seven goals every week, but he is capable of scoring okay. If you’re looking for a fresh rookie to bring in, he could be the man. Mature age and has a low breakeven. Tick, tick.

Sell

Jason Castagna (Richmond)

Jason Castagna’s scores are either great or terrible and that’s not what you want in a Supercoach side. He’s not an urgent ‘get rid of’ but if you’re looking to make a change, he’s probably the one.

Hold

Isaac Heeney (Sydney)

Isaac Heeney hasn’t score above 100 for three weeks but the Swans have an easy month of football ahead and he could return to form and put on some big scores. Hold for now.
