SURPRISE PACKETS

Ryan Lester - BL|FWD|$405,800($+16.1K) - 127 points

Lester recorded a season high 127 against Port Adelaide, after averaging just 76.8 before the weekend. He is owned by just 0.2% percent of coaches and they would have been glad he was in there. He will be tested this week against GWS, but his performance against the Power was definitely a surprise.

Jarryd Lyons - GC|MID|$485,200($+30.8K) - 117 points

Despite the loss, Lyons finished with two goals and 24 disposals. That helped him to a season high 117 points. Despite being priced as close to a top tier midfielder, Lyons is owned by less than 700 coaches. His performance is the third in a string of good efforts, however this was the best of the lot.

Tim Membrey - STK|FWD|$340,100($+4.5K) - 114 points

This was only the second time Membrey has surpassed the triple digit mark so far this season, and he did it in style. His 114 points was a high for the year, and also well above his average. The 0.6% of players who own him would have been very pleased.

Darcy Byrne-Jones - PA|DEF|$306,100($+16.4K) - 111 points

The defender went bang against Brisbane, scoring 111 points. His previous high score was 86, while his average heading into the game was a lowly 58.1. He is owned by just 0.6% of sides.

Jack Darling - WCE|FWD|$353,300($-0.8K) - 100 points

The first time he has cracked the 100-point barrier all year, Darling's score came as a surprise. He averaged just 66.8 before the game against the Cats, and was owned by just 0.4% of coaches. His two goals and seven marks helped him get to his 100 points.

DISAPPOINTMENTS

Lance Franklin - SYD|FWD|$471,900($-15.1K) - 48 points

Very rarely does Buddy get towelled up, but against Alex Rance it happened. He only kicked one goal, turned the ball over nine times, and gave away five free kicks. The big man was averaging 95.7 points per game heading into the round, and was owned by over 30% of players.

Jason Johannisen - WB|DEF|$385,900($-34.9K) - 58 points

It wasn't a great game for the Bulldogs and especially for Jason Johannisen. The Norm Smith Medallist had his second lowest score for the year, managing just 58 points. He managed only 15 touches and turned the ball over five times.

Dayne Beams - BL|MID|$558,600($+6.6K) - 66 points

A top-tier midfielder who could only manage 66 points means he finds himself on the disappointments list. It was Beams' equal lowest score of the season, and the 41,000+ coaches who own him would not have been pleased.

Jack Macrae - WB|MID/FWD|$505,100($-11.3K) - 70 points

It's been a stellar SuperCoach year for Macrae, averaging 103.8 heading into the game against the Demons. His 70 points against Melbourne was a season low, and despite not being a terrible score came as disappointment. Owned by 30+% of coaches, they will be hoping Macrae turns it in round 14.

Toby Nankervis - RICH|RUC/FWD|$442,400($-18K) - 72 points

The big 'Nank' is one of the most owned players in the league (49.6% of teams). Thus why his 72 points against the Swans qualified him for this list. It is by no means a terrible score, however the sheer number of coaches who have him, and the fact it was well below his average of 98.1 heading into the round means this week it was disappointing.
