SURPRISE PACKETS
Alex Neal-Bullen - MEL|FWD|$317,500($+53.1K) - 127 points
Owned by just 2.5% of coaches, Neal-Bullen had an excellent game for the Dees. Despite his side dropping the game, he amassed 28 touches and kicked a goal. His 10 tackles also boosted his score. His score meant that his price also took a serious jump.
Aaron Mullett - NM|DEF|$332,300($+0K) - 118 points
In only his second game for the year, the North Melbourne defender scored very well. He had 28 disposals at an efficiency of 85.7%, while also recording 13 rebound 50s. Only 235 (0.1%) coaches had Mullett score big for them.
Sam Petrevski-Seton - CARL|MID|$240,900 ($+51.6K) - 116 points
There were high hopes for the the first year youngster, but Petrevski-Seton's performance against Essendon was excellent. 12 of his 17 disposals were contested, while he also managed to lay eight tackles and kick a goal. An outstanding performance in the wet from the Blue.
Nic Newman - SYD|DEF|$123,900($+0K) - 105 points
Newman's second game of the year was his best to date. He cracked the triple figures thanks to 23 touches and a goal. It is likely many coaches decide to pick him up. Expect his price to rise after his third game.
Brandan Parfitt - GEEL|MID-FWD|$166,700($+49.4K) - 99 points
Parfitt started slowly, however had a break-out game against the Demons. He had 23 touches and earned four free kicks. At such a low price, his 99 points were a definite surprise, but a welcome one.
DISAPPOINTMENTS
Jaeger O'Meara - HAW|MID|$327,000($+8.1K) - 44 points
O'Meara is still getting up to speed at the top level of the game following two years out injured, however, his 44-point return on the weekend was still disappointing. He struggled with his disposal efficiency (42.9%), which in the long run hurt his score.
Todd Goldstein - NM|RUC|$588,400($+0K) - 52 points
Coming back after missing last week through injury, Goldy wasn't expected to have an amazing game. But just 52 points was less than what his coaches were hoping for. With the emergence of Preuss, Goldstein's scores could be something to keep an eye on.
Dion Prestia - RICH|MID|$484,800($-23.9K) - 52 points
It was a fantastic win for the Tigers, however, not the best outing for Prestia. He only had 18 disposals at 61.1%, while also recording three clangers. He should bounce back in round four, but still disappointing in the weekend just past.
Bernie Vince - MELB|DEF-MID|$501,100($+0K) - 53 points
Vince did hurt his toe during the game against Geelong, but played out the match. 53 points was less than what everyone was hoping for. A disposal efficiency of 57.1% did not help his cause.
Sam Mitchell - WCE|MID|$551,400($-16.6K) - 65 points
The star midfielder sets the bar so high, so when he plays an average game it stands out. Just 65 points from Mitchell, despite collecting 25 touches. Two free kicks against, six clangers and a disposal efficiency of 60% hurt him. The wet weather is kind to very few in SuperCoach.
