The first of the dreaded bye rounds are here, meaning SuperCoach owners will be looking to field 18 players this week to compensate for six AFL teams missing the round.
Owners will hope their boost options have come in handy so they can be put to use to try and field as many players as possible.
Remember owners, the more players playing the better, so hold on to players who will be playing this week!
With that being said, it's time to look ahead to next week and see who to buy, hold and sell as Round 12 nears.

Tim English ($597,700) (RUC/FWD)
English will be in high demand this week following his 160-point outburst against the Eagles on Saturday.
Despite the lofty price of near $600k, the Bulldogs ruckman is well worth the investment, as he currently sits behind Lachie Neale for the highest SuperCoach average on the season, with an impressive 128 points per game.

Has returned from a bad bout of illness, and with a low breakeven of 55 and a projected price rise of $32.3k, English is about to get even more expensive.
The Bulldogs do not have the bye, and English has dual position status in both the ruck and forward line, so he looks the perfect upgrade and trade in target this week.
Luke McDonald ($474,100) (DEF/MID)
The Kangaroos defender has hit some great form as of late and is about to get very pricey if he can keep his form up.
In the past two weeks, McDonald has scored 127 and 132 SuperCoach points respectively, giving him a low breakeven of 21 and a projected price rise of $38.5k so he will not be this cheap for very much longer.
It is risky as the Kangaroos are not playing well this season, meaning many of their players will not score well on SuperCoach, but McDonald is a shining light in that aspect, and seeing as the ball lives in the Kangaroos' defensive half for most of the time, McDonald has no problem finding the footy, averaging a career-high 21.8 disposals and 5.8 marks per game.
Currently only in 3.4% of teams and the Kangaroos do play this weekend so hop on for a great point of difference in defence.
Tom Stewart ($618,600) (DEF)
Arguably the best defender in the competition, at least SuperCoach wise, Stewart has been on a tear recently, but is only in 23.9% of teams which is low considering his weekly output.
Stewart currently has a three-round average of 136.3 after scoring 113, 122 and 174, which now gives him a low breakeven of 69 and a projected price rise of $29.9k.

Even at the hefty price that Stewart is at, it's at that point where Stewart is a must have in the backline and can even be a point of difference as premium defenders such as Jayden Short, Jack Crisp and George Hewett all have higher ownership percentages than Stewart.
Doesn't have the bye this week, so get him in now before he gets even more expensive.
Isaac Heeney ($462,800) (FWD/MID)
The Swans forward enjoyed a blistering start to 2022, averaging 122.4 SuperCoach points in the first five rounds of the season and was arguably the most in form player in the competition at the time.
Since then, Heeney has only gone over 100 once in six games and his average is down to 100.9 points per game.
Heeney's form slump would be frustrating for owners, but seeing as Sydney don't have the bye this week, and Heeney is more than capable of turning it around quickly, hold onto him for now for an extra premium playing this week.
More of a watch this space as he is set to drop a bit in value after next game.
Sam De Koning ($348,500) (DEF/FWD)
The young gun from Geelong has been performing really well as of late, and even earned himself a Rising Star nomination for his latest efforts against the Adelaide Crows on the weekend.
De Koning is at a point where he is not going to increase that much in value, but he is still a reliable defence option for owners.

Close to 2,000 owners have already traded out the key defender and other owners may be tempted to upgrade De Koning to a premium but for now, with a breakeven of 46, a projected price rise of $14.4k and a game this week, hold onto De Koning until next week when they have the bye.
Braydon Preuss ($457,100) (RUC)
The big Giants ruckman has been a great purchase for many owners and has had crazy cash production with over $250k added onto his name this season.
Unfortunately, Preuss was struck down with illness before their round 10 clash with Carlton and didn't make it up against Brisbane, causing almost 7,000 owners to trade out the ruckman.

Preuss is definitely still worth holding as he has the bye this week giving him an extra week to rest up, and given he hasn't dropped below 100 in the six games that he has played, he is a consistently high scoring ruckman that shouldn't be traded out so easily.
Instead, those owners that have both Preuss and Sam Hayes should part ways with Hayes instead, as Hayes is the more tradeable ruckman and an upgrade to Tim English would be move favourable with Hayes than Preuss in my opinion.
Sam Hayes ($308,200) (RUC)
As mentioned just before, Hayes will be on the chopping block this week due to mediocre scoring, having the bye this week and the temptation of owners upgrading to Tim English.
Hayes has been a great cash cow for owners and a reliable back up option, especially when Preuss went down with illness.

Now Hayes has pretty much reached his ceiling in terms of cash production so he can now he upgraded to someone like Tim English, or downgraded to someone like Luke Strnadica from the Eagles.
Port having the bye this week is even more incentive to get rid of Hayes, especially if he is sitting as your third ruck option.
Josh Gibcus ($325,900) (DEF)
The Tigers defender has had a solid rookie season so far and has been a solid rookie option for owners this season, but like Hayes, he looks to have reached his ceiling with cash production.

Lost $6k in value and with Richmond having the bye this week, he is a prime target to upgrade to a premium defender who doesn't have the bye this week.
Hugh Dixon ($246,200) (FWD/RUC)
The young Eagles ruckman featured in the stock market's 'hold' section last week which didn't age well after he was dropped from the Eagles side last week.
Currently still in 23.8% of teams, he would be a handy extra player if he played this week, but that's no guarantee.

It is not a good sign if you are getting dropped, but getting dropped in a side as weak as the Eagles are right now is alarming, so if Dixon is not named this week then definitely part ways with him.
