SuperCoach Stock Market: Round 11

Check out players to buy, hold and sell, as well as breakevens and likely price changes for this week 👇

It's nearing the halfway point of the SuperCoach season and the bye rounds are just around the corner, so that needs to be factored in when trading this week, as owners' 'boost' option will come in handy during the bye rounds to use those extra trades.

Owners' trades are now dwindling down fast so it is important that trades are not wasted, and with a few injuries and health and safety protocols to popular premiums causing carnage for teams in recent weeks, it is important as ever that owners have bench cover.

With that being said, it's time to look ahead to next week and see who to buy, hold and sell as Round 11 nears.

SEE ALSO: BREAKEVENS - EVERY PLAYER, EVERY BREAKEVEN

BUY

Joel Jeffrey ($127,400) (FWD)

The young Suns forward excited on the weekend, kicking five goals down in Ballarat against the Bulldogs, and has a low breakeven of -45 and a projected price rise of $37.5k.

The 20-year old's job security seems strong and he's playing this week in his home town of Darwin so he'll want to impress in front of family and friends when the Suns take on Hawthorn.

A popular downgrade target this week and has already been traded in by 4,800 owners and more to come as the week progresses.

Looks to be a nice option to have on your bench and will have some solid cash production in the next few weeks.

Josh Kelly ($591,500) (MID)

The star Giants midfielder is dominating at the moment, but is only in 8.5% of teams.

Kelly is averaging 112.1 SuperCoach points on the season, including a five-round average of 122.4 and has a low breakeven of 68, so expect him to go over the $600k mark by the end of next round.

Would be a handy point of difference in your midfield heading into the second half of the season, and with an average of 29 disposals per game, Kelly is very reliable week in and week out.

Jack Sinclair ($530,200) (DEF/MID)

Sinclair is definitely in All-Australian contention across half-back and featured in the buy section of the stock market a few weeks ago due to his consistent SuperCoach scoring.

The Saints defender is currently averaging 110.3 SuperCoach points and has gone over 100 in eight of 10 games this season, so he is reliable as ever in defence.

Has a low breakeven of 67 and a projected price rise of $15k, and he's at a very respectable price at the moment, so hop on now if you didn't a few weeks ago.

HOLD

Jack Carroll ($183,000) (MID)

The young Carlton midfielder started his career well in Round 7 with 95 SuperCoach points but has had a couple of quiet games in the past two rounds, landing him with a breakeven of 42 and a projected price rise of $5.8k so his price won't fluctuate too much this round.

Currently averaging 55 SuperCoach points across his first four games, to go with 14.5 disposals per game, Carroll remains a nice bench option who is capable of scoring well as seen in his debut game with one goal, 19 disposals and eight marks.

Hold onto him for some more cash production on your bench as the bye rounds approach.

Sam Hayes ($304,400) (RUC)

The popular ruck selection continues to be a reliable backup option for owners if one ruck is a late out and that proved to be the case on the weekend when popular ruck Braydon Preuss went out due to protocols, with Hayes scoring a decent 72.

Similar to Carroll, Hayes' breakeven is 52 with a projected price rise of $9.7k so his price won't fluctuate too much, but he's averaging 74.5 SuperCoach points on the season and he'll do you no trouble by having bench cover in the rucks departments.

Hold onto Hayes to have an extra player playing during the bye rounds.

Hugh Dixon ($246,200) (FWD/RUC)

The Eagles utility hasn't set the world on fire, but he is still getting consistent games due to the weak Eagles squad at the moment, and with the bye rounds approaching, it is handy to have as many players playing as possible.

Currently averaging 57 SuperCoach points per game, and has a breakeven of 41 and a projected price rise of $8k.

It's not the most flashy scoring average, but he remains a nice bench option who will play most weeks.

Hold onto until after the bye rounds.

SELL

Nic Martin ($379,300) (FWD/MID)

The young Bombers midfielder has been a revelation this SuperCoach season, averaging 82.4 SuperCoach points per game on the season, highlighted by his five-goal, 114-point debut game.

Martin, however, in the last few games has dropped off, with a three-round average of 65.3, which leaves him with a breakeven of 116 and a projected price drop of $16.3k.

Now is the perfect time to offload Martin as he is about to lose value and isn't in great form.

If there are other areas of concern before the bye rounds to deal with, then deal with them, but Martin is due for an upgrade in either the forward line or the midfield.

Matt Rowell ($416,200) (MID)

The gun Suns midfielder has well and truly cooled off since a hot start to the season.

Rowell averaged 110.3 SuperCoach points in the first three rounds, but since then has plummeted to an average of 86.7 and a three-round average of 68.3.

This leads Rowell to have a breakeven of 128 and a projected price drop of $21k, so he's bound for dropping back under the $400k mark by the end of this round.

Owners should've gotten rid of Rowell earlier in the season, but he is still in 30.9% of teams, so for those owners, trade out now.

Tim Taranto ($465,300) (MID/FWD)

Taranto was one of the more popular picks in the forward line to start the season due to his dual position status, and started off the season well, averaging 110 SuperCoach points in the first four rounds.

Since then, he hasn't gone past the ton and now has an average of 93.9 points and has a high breakeven of 121 and a projected price drop of $18.8k.

The skilled Giants midfielder missed last week being in health and safety protocols and will also miss this week with a back injury.

It's safe to say it's time to move Taranto on.
