Rookie Rankings leader Harley Reid has only extended the gap over the rest of his class thanks to a sensational Round 10 performance, while a Lions recruit has broken into our top six for the first time this year.

Our rankings have seen some change in the middle of the pack, with a young Saint jumping two places into second.

The likes of Calsher Dear, Zane Duursma and Kane McAuliffe have earned honourable mentions for their efforts over the weekend as well.

Selection Criteria:ย For ourย Rookie Rankings, we are ONLY selecting players who have made their debut this season.

Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2024 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as George Wardlaw, Angus Sheldrick and Sam Darcyย are ineligible, having already played anย AFL match before Round 1, 2024.ย

3. Colby McKercher (-1)

A foot injury has sidelined the Roos' young gun for the time being, with a return date not yet clear due to the concern surrounding the setback.

McKercher could miss just the one game, which was Sunday's loss to Essendon, but is also at risk of spending an extended period on the sidelines given the damage a foot injury can have on a player's ability to compete.

The Roos will have their fingers crossed its a short-term recovery for McKercher, who is now in danger of falling a further spot or two in our rankings over the next few weeks if he remains sidelined.

This weekend the Roos head to Tasmania, McKercher's home state, to host Port Adelaide in their search for a maiden win in 2024.
