Rookie Rankings leader Harley Reid has only extended the gap over the rest of his class thanks to a sensational Round 10 performance, while a Lions recruit has broken into our top six for the first time this year.

Our rankings have seen some change in the middle of the pack, with a young Saint jumping two places into second.

The likes of Calsher Dear, Zane Duursma and Kane McAuliffe have earned honourable mentions for their efforts over the weekend as well.

Selection Criteria: For our Rookie Rankings, we are ONLY selecting players who have made their debut this season.

Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2024 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as George Wardlaw, Angus Sheldrick and Sam Darcy are ineligible, having already played an AFL match before Round 1, 2024.

1. Harley Reid (-)

It was another sensational performance from Reid over the weekend, with the Pick 1 selection ranking as one of West Coast's best performers in an upset win over Melbourne.

The highlight of Reid's game came in the opening quarter when the Eagles young gun booted a goal-of-the-year contender, breaking away from the centre bounce, taking three bounces and launching from distance to get the entire Optus Stadium crowd on their feet.

The teenager ended the night with two goals, 21 disposals, seven clearances and 10 score involvements in what was arguably his best performance of the season.

Another highlight came in the middle of the ground when Reid gathered the ball before fending off both Clayton Oliver and Christian Petracca before looking to set up another Eagles score.
