Each round this season, the Zero Hanger team - consisting of editor Mitch Keating, senior reporter Jack Fitzpatrick, general manager Nick Splitter, and deputy editor Ed Carmine - will vote on every game to establish our AFL MVP for 2022.
Votes will be given out on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 system for each game, meaning the maximum score any player can record in any game is 20.
Forwards were the dominant force in Round 6, with the likes of Jack Higgins, Jeremy Cameron, Zac Bailey and Jack Ginnivan among the top vote-getters for the weekend.
Defenders also took home their fair share of the votes, with Billy Frampton, Brennan Cox, Jeremy Howe and Zach Tuohy also earning high remarks from the weekend.
Jack Higgins added another four goals to his season tally, amassing nine majors in the past two rounds to stake his claim for an All-Australian forward pocket role. Saints midfield trio Jack Steele, Brad Crouch and Seb Ross were impressive again, while Josh Battle stood up in defence.
