Sydney has announced three additions to their coaching department for 2025, signing club legend Jarrad McVeigh, former Giants player Adam Kennedy and Collingwood development coach Harmit Singh.
McVeigh has been tasked with leading the VFL side after spending the past five years as an assistant coach, which followed 325 games at the Swans.
The former captain of the Bloods will replace Damian Truslove, who has returned to Victoria for family reasons.
The move has opened a vacancy alongside John Longmire in the coaches box.
Kennedy will slide straight into the development coach of Sydney after recently hanging up the boots.
The 32-year-old was an inaugural Giant, playing 153 games across 13 years, but was hindered by persistent injuries in the back half of his career, namely ACL and shoulder reconstructions.
Lastly, Singh joins the 2024 grand finalists from the Pies, where he was Head of Academies and Peter Daicos Academy, and assistant coach of the Collingwood VFL team.
Sydney's new talent and coaching director also spent time at Essendon in academy development for the men's team and recruiting for the women's.
Sydney Swans EGM of Football Leon Cameron said all three appointments will add significantly to the club.
"Harmit will bring a wealth of academy experience to our program, and having worked in the game for several decades, he's the perfect fit to head up our QBE Sydney Swans Academy," Cameron said.
"Jarrad has been working for several years under John Longmire in the AFL program, and we feel this is a fantastic time for him to take over the VFL team.
"At the Giants, I had the privilege of working with Adam Kennedy for many years, and he is the ideal person to mentor and guide our young crop of talent.
"I congratulate all three on their appointments and look forward to them making a valuable contribution to the club."
