The race for Zero Hanger's AFL MVP is heating up as each game from Round 4 saw a player poll at least 19 of a possible 20 votes.

Swans rookie Riley Bice earned a full 20 after his 26-disposal outing against North Melbourne on Saturday night, also tallying seven score involvements. Will Hayward also won the love from our voters, 16 votes to his name, thanks to his four-goal night.

Despite the loss to St Kilda, Jason Horne-Francis repsonded to critics by producing one of the better games of his career, his 28 disposals and six clearances earning him the full 20 votes. Callum Wilkies strong performance in the backline for St Kilda, including seven rebound 50s, won him 11 votes on the day, the most for a Saints player.

Lachie Schultz Richard Pratt Medal-winning two-goal outing in Collingwood's scrappy affair with Carlton saw him pick up his first votes of the season, taking 19 votes home. Steele Sidebottom polled 12 votes of his own, nudging himself toward the top leaderboard with 40 votes total.

Izak Rankine is just one vote shy of joining Sidebottom, his six votes from Adelaide's heartbreaking loss to Gold Coast boosting him to 39 total for the season. It was teammate Riley Thilthorpe who impressed most in this game, his bag of goals over rising star Mac Andrew proving to be worthy of 19 votes, taking his season total to 28.

Patrick Dangerfield buzzed up forward with nine score involvements from 20 disposals in Geelong's convincing win over Melbourne on Friday night, earning him 19 votes too. Hugh McCluggage joined the 19-vote club with an impactful two goals and 26 disposals on Saturday afternoon, now in the fight for the lead with 36 votes total this season.

Jesse Hogan also put on a show with a nine-goal haul over the lowly Eagles, but teammate Darcy Jones prevented him from taking home a clean sweep of the votes, his two goals and 13 score involvements from 24 disposals being rewarded with a 5-vote nod, 16 votes overall for the game.

In the weekend's final game, Sam Darcy took home a game-high 19 votes after kicking five goals. Fremantle's stars were rewarded with a share of the remaining votes in their statement win to get their season back on track, Andrew Brayshaw polling 13 votes and Caleb Serong tallying 12.

    Miller didnt even make the list of 5 best in 2 of the 4 lists.
