Unsigned Sydney forward Logan McDonald has given the biggest hint yet on his future, reassuring the club and its fans he's satisfied with life in the Harbour City.
The Western Australian product is off-contract and said to be garnering strong interest from both clubs from his home state, with Fremantle keen to try and prise McDonald to Cockburn.
With the Dockers equipped with three first-round draft selections for this year's count, the WA club will stand a chance to snare the Bunbury-born forward should he remain without a deal for 2025 at the end of this season.
For McDonald, who's in the midst of his fourth season in the red and white, Sydney is "starting to feel like home now", with the young attacker placing a focus on his football rather than his future.
"I'm happy here, I got a lot of mates here and every day is a joy to come in," McDonald told media on Thursday.
"I'm having so much fun and it helps when you're winning. I'm just loving my time here, just as simple as that.
"Ever since I've stepped foot in here, the club's been so welcoming to me and my family. They've put a lot of time into my development, helping me become the player that I am today.
"I'm trying to get better every day, working alongside Hayden (McLean) and Joel (Amartey). I've got a lot of growth to do and I'm just trying to repay them with my faith.
"I'll just leave the contract stuff with my manager and the club to work through. [I'll] focus on playing my role and compete."
McDonald remains one of the Swans' top retention targets, with the club having already secured Errol Gulden and James Rowbottom to long-term deals.
Free agent duo Will Hayward and Ollie Florent are still without contracts beyond 2024, with the former another senior Swan reportedly in the sights of rivals.
Speaking on the club's current list planning so far this year, McDonald said it was exciting for the likes of Gulden and Rowbottom to sign for the long haul.
"It's smart of the club to lock them away. We've got a lot of talent in the room," he said.
"We're all close mates and we love spending time together at the club each day. It's as simple as that.
"We want to stay together. As long as we try to stay together for as long as we can, we think that's going to translate best to performance on the field."
Sydney return from their Round 5 bye on Sunday when they host Gold Coast at the SCG at 1:05pm (AEST).
