Sydney will unveil the second half of their "Warner Bros" combination on Friday night, with Corey Warner, the younger brother of star midfielder Chad, confirmed to debut against Richmond at Adelaide Oval.
Warner joined his brother in making the move from Western Australia to New South Wales in 2021 as the 40th overall selection in the National Draft.
Seen as a similarly built player to his older brother, Warner has impressed at VFL level this year to average 15 disposals, 4.0 marks, 3.5 tackles and 4.0 inside 50s per game.
Warner also featured in 20 games for Sydney's reserves last season in his debut year with the club.
The teenager will become the Swans' first debutant of the 2023 season, joining fellow 2021 draftees in Angus Sheldrick and Matt Roberts in breaking into the senior side since landing in the Harbour City.
Sydney are set to make at least three changes for this week's trip to South Australia, with Lance Franklin, Paddy McCartin and Tom McCartin all sidelined following the Swans' Round 4 loss to Port Adelaide.
Sydney will confirm their 22-man side for Friday's clash against the Tigers at 6:20pm (AEST) on Thursday evening.
