Sydney's Justin McInerney has been fined $3,750 (early plea of $2500) by the AFL for rough conduct against Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn.
Occurred in the final quarter of Thursday night's Opening Round clash, McInerney's actions were deemed "Intentional impact, low impact and body contact".
Did McInerney just drop Gawn??

In an exciting night for the Swans, who hosted the first clash of the 2024 season at the SCG, this was the only blemish as the club proved too strong for the Demons.
After a slow first half which saw a total of six goals, both sides kicked into gear during the 'premiership quarter', slotting a combined eight majors.
However, when the going got tough it was Sydney who stood up and put the foot to the accelerator.
Led by star recruit Brodie Grundy and an inspired move to the midfield for Isaac Heeney, coach John Longmire's team got his side off to a strong start in 2024.
Despite Melbourne forward Bayley Fritsch's four-goal effort, the Demons were no match for the 'Bloods'.
The Swans will have a seven-day break before heading to Melbourne to face the reigning premiers at the MCG, with Collingwood unfurling their 2023 premiership flag at the home of football.
Simon Goodwin's men will enjoy a nine-day gap, eyeing off their Round 1 clash with the Western Bulldogs on Sunday, March 17.
