Sydney Swans coach John Longmire is reportedly considering his future with the club, with a decision that could see him step down potentially near.
Multiple media sources say Longmire, who is contracted with the Swans until the end of next year, is expected to meet with players on Tuesday to discuss potentially walking away from his role.
Reports have suggested Longmire will step down from his role with immediate effect, with Sydney assistant Dean Cox reportedly set to take over.

Sydney have flagged a major club announcement will be made at 1:30pm (AEDT).
Longmire has coached the Swans since the start of the 2011 season, recording 208 wins from 333 games in charge of the red and white. He would lead the Swans to the 2012 premiership and has coached in a further four grand finals.
Cox has long been linked as a potential successor to Longmire. Cox turned down the advances of West Coast this year for the chance to run for the club's vacant senior coaching role, instead deciding to remain in New South Wales.
