Taylor Duryea has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal with the Western Bulldogs, extending his time in the league until at least the end of the 2023 season.
The veteran defender managed 12 games this season, averaging 13.2 disposals per match.
Originally drafted by Hawthorn in the 2009 National Draft with pick No. 69, Duryea played 118 games in brown and gold, including two premierships in 2014 and 2015, before making the move to the Bulldogs in 2018.
Since landing at the Kennel, the 31-year-old has played 53 games, earning the Bulldogs' coaches award in 2021.
Sam Power, the Bulldogs' General Manager of List & Recruiting, said the club was looking forward to having Duryea extend his time in red, white and blue.
“We're really pleased to have Taylor sign on for at least another season,” Power said.
“Taylor's leadership from the moment he stepped in the building has been an asset to our club, both on and off field.
“His selfless actions on the football field epitomise the person that Taylor is, playing a variety of roles across the backline during his time at the Bulldogs.”
