Centre Half Forward: Dustin Martin (Richmond)
Playing basically as a CHF this week, Martin punished the Lions with 6.0 off 17 disposals, which meant a nearly a goal with every third possession!
Half Forward: Brandon Parfitt (Geelong)
Stepped up in the absence of Gary Ablett and performed just as well. 3.0 and 28 disposals in a best on ground performance.
Forward Pocket: Jake Stringer (Essendon)
Finally played as a permanent forward and was back to his best. He doesn’t need a lot of the footy to hurt you, and that’s what happened against the Power. Only had the 13 disposals but hit the scoreboard with 4.1.
Full Forward: Ben Brown (North Melbourne)
Outscored the opposition 31-30 with his 5.1. Also had 17 disposals playing out of full forward.
Forward Pocket: Luke Bruest (Hawthorn)
Had the opening goal inside 20 seconds, and once Paul Puopolo and Cyril Rioli went down, he continued to flourish. Had the four goals along with 19 disposals. Also had nine tackles and six inside 50's.
