Interchange

Christian Salem (Melbourne)

Another one of the exciting young Dees, Salem was super impressive against the reigning premiers with 23 touches, six tackles, five marks and a delightful goal from 50m.

His role could increase further with Nathan Jones out for a month, so keep your eyes peeled for this rising star.

Nic Newman (Sydney)

Newman was vital for the Swans on Saturday, notching up 26 touches, laying seven tackles and registering seven inside 50s as a huge third quarter provided the spark for the Swans in their 45-point turnaround.

Jarryd Lyons (Gold Coast)

The 24-year-old is enjoying a break out season on the coast, becoming an important part of the Suns' midfield.

24 touches, six clearances, six inside 50s and five tackles wasn't quite enough for the Suns to get the win, but there is plenty of promise from the former Crow.

Jack Billings (St Kilda)

Another player who could've had a bag, Billings has continued a strong run of form since his bag of five against the Blues in round eight with 18 touches, eight tackles and two goals.
