Defenders

Back Pocket - Sam Docherty (Carlton)

Another fantastic week in what has been a career year for Sam Docherty. He collected 28 disposals, took 11 marks, had five clearances, and six rebound 50s. He also helped keep the Tigers to a relatively low score considering how many entries they had.

Full Back - Nathan Brown (St Kilda)

An excellent effort from Brown to keep Tom Lynch goalless in their clash with the Suns. He only had six touches himself, however the ability to null the effect of a powerhouse forward like Lynch earns him a spot in the side.

Back Pocket - Zach Tuohy (Geelong)

Zach Tuohy was again one of Geelong's best players, delivering for the Cats in a tight game. He finished the game with 28 touches, eight marks, five rebound 50s, four score involvements, and two goals. Not only in the team of the week for round 14, but looks likely to be an All-Australian.

Half Back - Steele Sidebottom (Collingwood)

Steele Sidebottom produced a fantastic performance despite his side going down. He had 36 disposals at an 81% efficiency, and also managed eight marks, and six score involvements. He was a crucial figure for Collingwood, and helped keep the margin respectable.

Centre Half Back - Heath Grundy (Sydney)

The Sydney defender was crucial throughout their come-from-behind win over Essendon, and rightfully takes his place in this side. He collected 26 disposals (88% efficiency) and claimed eight marks. He also played a big part in keeping the big name Essendon forwards quiet.

Half Back - Jake Lloyd (Sydney)

Another crucial part of the Sydney comeback, Lloyd played some terrific football in round 14. He ended the game with 31 disposals, 10 marks, and seven rebound 50s. He consistently found the ball when it was needed, and for the most part used it very well.

Centre

Wing - Matt Crouch (Adelaide)

Despite the result not going their way, Crouch was clearly Adelaide's best in an overall poor showing. The youngster amassed 35 disposals, laid eight tackles and took five marks, as the ball magnet continues to push Hawthorn's Tom Mitchell at the top of the possessions list.

Centre - Jack Viney (Melbourne)

Basically the first name put down, Viney went beast mode on Saturday night. An unbelievable 26 of his 38 possessions were contested, while he also managed to hit the scoreboard with a goal. The way he led his side was inspirational, and was huge reason as to why they got over the line.

Wing - Ricky Henderson (Hawthorn)

What a way to celebrate your 100th game. Henderson was one of Hawthorn's shining lights in their upset win over the Crows, as the utility booted two goals and had 30 disposals against his former side.

Forwards

Half Forward - Toby Greene (GWS)

One of three Giants in our forward line, Greene kicked four goals straight and had 20 disposals in a strong performance alongside his two big teammates.

Centre Half Forward - Jonathon Patton (GWS)

Patton may have just shaded Cameron as the club's most dominant forward over the weekend, with 23 disposals, 13 marks and 4.2 to his name.

Half Forward - Jeremy Cameron (GWS)

Not to be outdone, Cameron finished the match with figures of 21 disposals, 11 marks, four tackles and also 4.2.

Forward Pocket - Robbie Gray (Port Adelaide)

Gray dominated the Pies on Saturday afternoon, and kicked four of his five goals in the first half. He could have had plenty more but had three goal assists instead, along with 20 disposals and five marks.

Full Forward - Tom McDonald (Melbourne)

Not only did he kick the winning goal on the night, but Tom McDonald was everywhere for the Demons on Saturday. 17 disposals and eight marks complimented his five goals nicely, in what was a career night for the defender-turned-forward.

Forward Pocket - Drew Petrie (West Coast)

Petrie made it a battle of the key forwards on Saturday, with his 19 disposals, eight marks and four goals leading the way for the Eagles.

Followers

Ruck - Matthew Kreuzer (Carlton)

Kreuzer has been one of the premier ruckman in the competition all season long, and staked his claim for an All-Australian spot once again with a dominant performance. He had 14 disposals, took four marks, had 37 hitouts and also kicked two goals.

The Sydney midfielder was an integral part of the Swans' come-from-behind win over Essendon on Friday night, racking up 36 disposals, seven clearances and five inside 50s.

Ruck Rover - Patrick Dangerfield (Geelong)

Dangerfield was his usual dominant self on Sunday, with a lazy 31 disposals (23 contested), 12 clearances, nine tackles and seven inside 50s.

Interchange

Jack Billings (St Kilda)

The St Kilda forward has continued his strong season with another positive performance, racking up 30 disposals, eight marks, four clearances, seven inside 50s and a goal.

Patrick Cripps (Carlton)

Cripps was one of the better midfielders on the ground on Sunday, and collected 27 disposals at 81.5% efficiency, while also laying eight tackles, grabbing 10 clearances and kicking one goal.

Ryan Burton (Hawthorn)

One of the favourites for the Rising Star, Burton played possibly his best match for the Hawks to date, with 21 disposals, five marks, five rebound 50s and two goals.

Ben Cunnington (North Melbourne)

The North Melbourne midfielder has 28 disposals on Saturday night with 20 of them contested, as his side narrowly went down to the Bulldogs. Cunnington also amassed six clearances and six inside 50s, and also booted two goals.
