Defenders

Back Pocket - Jake Lever (Adelaide)

Lever played an important role for the Crows in their win over the Dogs. He finished with 22 disposals at an efficiency of 91%, and took a number of intercept marks from Bulldogs' inside 50s.

Full Back - Michael Hurley (Essendon)

Another terrific display from the Essendon general down back. Hurley finished with 30 disposals at 90% efficiency, 11 marks, and eight rebound 50s. It's been a fantastic season for the 27-year old and this week was no different.

Back Pocket - Sam Docherty (Carlton)

Another big game for Docherty, who is clearly making a habit of it. 34 disposals, 10 marks, and seven tackles clearly places him in the back-line for our team of the week.

Half Back - Dane Rampe (Sydney)

Dane Rampe made it evidently clear as to why Sydney missed him so much at the start of the year, putting in a great performance against the Suns. He finished the game with 25 touches and an impressive 13 marks.

Centre Half Back - Lachie Henderson (Geelong)

Another fantastic outing for Lachie Henderson, this time against the Lions. He recorded 27 disposals at an efficiency of 82% and also took 11 marks. His efforts rightfully earn him a place in this side.

Half Back - Leigh Montagna (St. Kilda)

There were some arguments that Montagna was past it, and he responded in the best possible way. He had 31 disposals and kicked two long range goals to help the Saints to an incredible victory.
