With a plethora of big names set to come out of contract at the end of the season, we thought we'd hypothesise about some blockbuster moves.

We've compiled a list of ten head-turning moves that could happen by year's end - some slightly more outlandish than others. We're not saying all of these will happen but believe they are all possibilities.

We've also predicted a bombshell coaching acquisition for a struggling club.

7. Josh Dunkley finally 'Dons the Sash'

Dunkley was linked to the Bombers during last year's trade period but, after negotiations with Essendon broke down, will continue to call the Bulldogs home.

However, with midfield minutes still hard to come by at the Kennel, a move to the Bombers may be too hard for the 25-year-old to resist this time around.

Dunkley is apparently in no rush to re-sign with the Bulldogs, leaving the door very much ajar to a potential second Bombers swoop.
