3. Sam Walsh

Sam Walsh has made a number of statements in his short career but none better than stepping up in the back half of the 2020 season.

The Blues' finals hopes remain alive thanks to this kid after collecting a season-high 25 touches in a man of the match effort in Carlton's five-point win over Sydney.

A player lies Walsh doesn't come around often, consistently stepping up when it matters most and lifting his teammates to a win off his own back.
