The past decade has showcased the glorious highs and deflating lows of football.
The game of Aussie Rules is filled with ecstasy and agony both on the field and off it, testing the emotional strength of its fans.

9. Fans and players stand in memory of Phil Walsh
After the gruesome murder of Phil Walsh, clubs from around the league stood in a circle at the end of the game to show sportsmanship as tribute for the former Adelaide coach.
Most notable was the Adelaide Crows and West Coast Eagles game, the first Crows game since his murder.
Not only were the players brought to tears, but the emotion spread around the stadium sent shockwaves of sentiment throughout the nation.
