We have already had our 2021 All-Australian team predicted, and now we have shifted our gaze to the names that could find themselves being tailored for a gaudy jacket by season's end.
Some of this group have lengthy resumes and can count themselves rigor mortis stiff not to have already cracked a nomination for the national side. Whilst others are budding stars, set to once again put their best feet forward.
From the dubious to the near on locks, here are the 10 players that appear best placed to end 2021 with their first All-Australian selection.
As always, let us know who we have missed.
1. Mitch Duncan
There are many mysteries in life, but the fact that Mitch Duncan is yet to win All-Australian selection after 11 years remains one of the most bemusing.
Perennially referred to as โunderrated' - so much so that the phrase has lost meaning - the time is now for the 29-year-old to break his duck.

With a career average of 22.25 disposals and a total of 58 Brownlow votes, the Western-Australian has been nothing if not consistent in his time at Kardinia Park.
Like Hunter, we have named Duncan on a wing in our predicted AA 22. Like Menegola, if Duncan fires in 2021, there is a high possibility that he will have a second Premiership medal to add to his first representative blazer.
