We have already had our 2021 All-Australian team predicted, and now we have shifted our gaze to the names that could find themselves being tailored for a gaudy jacket by season's end.

Some of this group have lengthy resumes and can count themselves rigor mortis stiff not to have already cracked a nomination for the national side. Whilst others are budding stars, set to once again put their best feet forward.

From the dubious to the near on locks, here are the 10 players that appear best placed to end 2021 with their first All-Australian selection.

As always, let us know who we have missed.

3. Steven May

As reliable as he is broad, we also have Stephen May debuting in our predicted All-Australian squad for this season.

Demons' fans were howling after the defender was omitted from the 22 last year, but like Short, if his pre-season form is an indicator of what's to come, there will be no denying the former Sun at the end of this year.

Tasked with the kick in duties, May sent the ball forward at will against the Dogs, with 539 metres gained from 27 disposals.

With his intercepting marking ability acting as his one wood, if the Northern Territorian continues to make life hard for the competition's biggest and best forwards, an XL blazer will need to be manufactured.
