With the imminent departures of Jeremy Cameron, Zac Williams and Aidan Corr, a side full of former Giants has never looked so good 💪

After being given the keys to the Ferrari, Leon Cameron and Greater Western Sydney have failed to capitalise on what was arguably the most promising list from the past two decades.

Full of first round draft picks and stars in the making, the Giants managed to find themselves just outside of a premiership window only a number years after their inauguration.

However, as their list grew, so did the interest from their rivals, with an abundance of early draft selections moved on in order to retain their cycle of remaining relevant in both the premiership race and the top of the draft board.

As years went on, the Giants managed to trade star players for early selections, only for their rookies to soon blossom into A-grade talent, hence keeping up the cycle.

Now, this pattern looks to be drawing to a close, with the Giants failing to make the top eight in 2020 while having both stars and young guns looking to leave the harbour city.

Their big fish in Jeremy Cameron has officially asked to move to Geelong, while Zac Williams, Aidan Corr, Jackson Hately and Zac Langdon have also expressed a desire to move interstate.

With their failure in securing several big names for 2021, the Giants now look behind the chase for a premiership and back to square one.

Adding the likes of Cameron, Williams and Corr to a side of GWS departures, and the 22-man team has never looked so star-studded.
