When running an eye over the numbers of Richmond's 25 and 29-point victories to start their Premiership defense, they haven't really been challenged.

Like Port Adelaide, Richmond's season is set to turn up a notch over the next month when the face Sydney, St. Kilda, Melbourne and the Power themselves.
Damien Hardwick's Punt Road heroes have long been the benchmark team of the competition, but with the speed limit set to rise once they hit the MCG on Saturday afternoon, they will need to have their paws placed on the gearstick eventually.
