Another week and another set of winners and losers.

Although the road to the last Saturday in September has narrowed ever so slightly, each of the competition's 18 teams still hold their destinies in their own hands.

Whether your side is undefeated, breaking even or without a win to start 2021, there are questions, both new and historic, that must be answered to secure a win this long weekend.

Sydney

Will their bubble burst?

There is almost no permanency in football and form is very much temporary, but after the season's first fortnight, the Swans have produced 240-minutes of football almost free of faults.

With 100% of the young season's Rising Star candidates, Sydney's cygnets in Errol Gulden, Braeden Campbell, Chad Warner and Logan McDonald look like rolled gold so far.

Although many of us have already become carried away with what the Swans' future holds, their classy wins over Brisbane and Adelaide have provided a smorgasbord for thought.

Did I have the Swans finishing in the eight at season's end? No

Do I have them finishing there after a fortnight's sample size? Probably not either.

Do I have the vast majority of their rookies in my Fantasy team? You can bet your bottom dollar that I do.

With a month ahead that includes fixtures against Richmond, Essendon, GWS and Gold Coast Suns, John Longmire's ballet of Swans could conceivably hold a 5-1 record when the calendar page is turned to May.

Despite not tipping them, you would need Andre the Giant with a crowbar to pry me away from watching them this weekend, as they face the game's greatest contemporary challenge โ€“ Richmond at the MCG.

Even though all good things come to an end and the Earth's atmosphere has never lost a battle with a bubble, enjoy the ride Sydney fans, your side is that fun to watch.
