As the first month of fixtures drew to a close last Sunday evening, a belief morphed into empirical truth - 2021 is already rivalling last year in terms of unpredictability.
If you don't believe me, just take a look at the current ladder.
With the second month of the marathon season set to commence tonight, another set of questions remain ahead of both the men in the hot seat and their disciples in studded boots.
Whether flying high or having to continually dig deep for no reward, here are the latest set of quandaries facing each of the AFL's 18 teams.
Gold Coast
Is this the week the Havanas are sparked?
Like life, there are a pair of certainties in football. The first being that no matter how well your team is travelling, they will eventually lose. The other is that despite effort, the Suns will almost certainly fall short in tight contests.
Last week, I asked when the Stuart Dew's side would be able to cut and smoke the cigars that they have been so close to obtaining, and once again, they finished another round with their hands, and cheeks, empty.
I'm not sure how many Suns fans read these words of mine, but until this hurdle is hopped, I will continue to ask the same question of your side โ when will they get their hands of the Havanas?
"We're just as frustrated as you guys" - Hugh Greenwood from the rooms.

Will it be this week against the Bulldogs? Almost certainly not, but if they do manage to claim an unlikely win, the ensuing metaphorical haze in the clubrooms afterwards would be the best, and biggest, in the young club's short history.
Good luck, Gold Coast fans, I'm tipping you will need it against the 4-0 Pups.
