As both the players and their coaches continue their strides in season 2021, distinctive groups have broken out throughout the race.
Some, like the Bulldogs and Demons, have dashed from the starter's gun, with the desire to create lightyears between themselves and the pack.
Sadly for others, they are barely attached to the peloton anymore.
Whether first, second, third or 18th along the road to the last Saturday in September, every side and their side coaching team still have question marks over their head.
West Coast
Will they have 22 players fit to fly?
Although West Coast's trend of playing patchy football continued last week, I won't need to play my own broken record, as somebody else has done my bidding for me this week.
Instead, I have shifted my focus to the Eagles' ailments, with the prevailing question being just how high the aerie can fly when so many of their wings are clipped?
Despite not being the longest in the league at present, the injury list before Adam Simpson must have him wrenching tufts out of his scalp.

With players like Ah Chee, Cole, Hurn, Kennedy, Petrucelle, Ryan, Shuey and Yeo almost certain to be unavailable for the club's clash against the Cats, their 23-man squad this weekend is going to be as patchy as a 16-year-old's beard.
For this reason, it is absolutely no wonder why 62% of tipsters have the Eagles getting humbled at Kardinia Park.
Even though I have been scathing of the Simpson led side's inability to string four quarters of football together this season, I am willing to give them an out this week, as it appears the boot-studder may be required to start in the forward pocket at this stage.
