The AFL's Gather Round has captivated the football world, and after three editions, its existence looks to have a well-earned place in the yearly schedule.
But who has favoured the footy festival?
Located in South Australia, it is natural to think that Adelaide and Port Adelaide would have benefitted from the concept being played in their home state, but their results thus far aren't consistent with the supposed advantage of playing in front of your fans.
The Crows have recorded only one victory from their three starts, going down to Geelong and Melbourne in the past two years.
The Power, on the other hand, have been faultless in the three iterations of the footy festival, including their mouth-watering clash with Hawthorn to conclude the 2025 edition of the intoxicating weekend.
Brisbane, Geelong, GWS and Collingwood reign supreme in South Australia throughout the three Gather Rounds, with the 2024 premiers featuring at the iconic Norwood Oval or the Adelaide Hills for three victories.
Conversely, North Melbourne, West Coast and Richmond are understandably down the bottom of the Gather Round ladder, while Western Bulldogs' presence among the rebuilding teams can be explained by tough contests against the Power, Geelong and Lions.
